This year SIOP's annual conference will be held at the Adam's Mark Hotel in downtown Dallas, May 5-7, 2006.  The Adam's Mark is a wonderful hotel not far from fine dining, the arts district, and a short ride to Dallas nightlife.  The hotel is connected to the Plaza of the Americas, a shopping complex that features an indoor skating rink.  The Adam's Mark also boasts a full-service health club and sauna, indoor and outdoor pools, and full-amenity guest rooms and luxurious suites.  Just outside the hotel is a stop for the DART light rail system providing convenient and inexpensive transportation to the West End entertainment district and other attractions.  For more information about  Dallas attractions, events, transportation (including DART), and more, visit http://www.visitdallas.com/SIOP.  

SIOP's conference program has some innovative and exciting features this year.   Here are a few of the new offerings: 

• The top rated posters will be showcased at the Evening Reception Friday night
• Themed sessions Sunday morning on the topic of "Crossing Disciplinary Borders" 
• A session featuring outside ethics experts discussing ethics in I-O psychology   
• "The Leading Edge and Beyond"an innovative "mini-track" that is a follow-up to SIOP's fall consortium  

SIOP has also developed a Conference Scheduler to help you custom create a schedule for you to use during the conference.  This function will allow you to select the sessions you want to attend and then print out your very own program schedule. To access the scheduler, click the link below.
