2009 SIOpen Golf Outing

The pageantry associated with the SIOpen golf event will take place at beautiful Oak Harbor Golf Club in Slidell, LA. Located about 20 minutes from downtown New Orleans, this 6,261-yard, par 72 championship course should make for an enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels, with water in play on 12 of the 18 holes. As always, players of ALL skill levels are welcome in this event. Teams will be handicapped based upon the information you provide on the entry form. The format, as in previous years, is a 4-person scramble. Each team member hits a tee shot and the team selects the best of the four shots to play. Then each team member hits from the location of the selected shot.
Registration for this event involves two steps:
1. Indicate your interest in participating in the SIOpen on your SIOP conference registration form and include your payment in your grand total. The entry fee of $85 includes greens fees, cart, transportation, and prizes.
2. Complete the tournament entry form and mail to Ron Landis, Department of Psychology, University of Memphis, Memphis, TN 38152. Alternatively, you can e-mail this information to Ron at rlandis@memphis.edu.
Oak Harbor is located about 20 minutes east of downtown New Orleans. For those who would like a ride to the event, a bus will pick you up at the hotel at 12:00 p.m., take you to the course, and bring you back at the conclusion of the event.
