About the Job

The focus of the Consulting Associate position is to work independently, and as a member of a team dedicated to client project delivery.  The position emphasizes integration of I/O and HR methodologies and Project Management to meet unique client requirements. 


  • Deliver/implement client projects requiring in depth knowledge in DDI’s core technologies (e.g., selection, assessment, testing, learning and development, executive assessment, feedback and coaching, etc.)
  • Assist in developing cost analyses, proposals, presentations, and implementation plans for projects.
  • Provide project management support for large-scale projects, and project management leadership for smaller projects.
  • Support design and development of client specific deliverables.
  • Use of DDI technology to support projects, including Success Profile Navigator, TS Access, Leadership Mirror, Assessing Talent, etc.
  • Assist in controlling cost and managing project profitability.
  • Direct training of client personnel and/or other delivery resources engaged for the project (e.g., technology training, implementation training).
  • Coordinate with other DDI resources (e.g., graphics; shipping/CSI, etc.) to produce deliverables
  • Provide support in sales situations requiring content expertise.
  • Function as DDI liaison with client representative(s).
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage implementation activities.
  • Spends 30-50% of time in highly visible client project delivery activities.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job)

  • Master’s degree in I-O psychology, business, or related field. 
  • Related business experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management or project related experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Demonstrated competence in the areas of:

    • Decision making
    • Technical knowledge
  • Some travel may be required (approximately 10-20%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification to deliver DDI technology and knowledge of DDI products and services.
