About the Job

This position will lead, plan for, and manage the work effort involved in providing timely, competent and insightful workforce analytics. Also, will ensure key HR metrics, data trends and predictive models are identified, reported and communicated in a way that adds value to the business, enables fact-based decision making, and best supports the HR side of the company’s strategy.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
•Responsible for delivery of in-depth analyses of critical workforce issues and provide insight into the business and recommend changes to policies. Identify data trends, anomalies and root causes of issues. Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will provide insight into workforce issues and trends that impact organizational effectiveness.
•Collaborate with IT to continue to design, develop and grow our HR data warehouse, and the design and development activities related to the delivery of an HR Executive Scorecard and other HR dashboards.
•Create and maintain partnerships with HR leaders and peers in order to understand and identify the HR data that should be housed in the new data warehouse to support the necessary HR analytics. This will involve learning and understanding various HR systems and related data housed within these systems, and partnering with the HRIS department as needed/required.
•Contribute to business strategy by helping HR leaders build organizational capabilities through analysis and commentary on trends discovered in HR data sources. Forge relationships with HR leaders, business leaders and stakeholders to understand strategic objectives.

•Provide analysis and reporting as requested to support inquiries related to employee productivity, labor costs, sourcing, and talent management.
•Responsible for all benchmarking research related to our HR data.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s in HR, business, statistics, finance, social research or related field.
•5-7 years experience analyzing and reporting data.
•Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
•Experience with business intelligence and HR data analytics – Microstrategy experience a plus
•Have managed an analytics team for 3-5 years
•Strong analytical skills; able to understand what data is important and how to analyze and synthesize it to be meaningful to stakeholders.
•Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking skills with an acute attention to detail and accuracy.
•Project management skills including planning, execution and follow-through. Ability to work with and hold accountable third-party consultants to meet deliverables. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills; experience as a leader in an environment where the ability to influence and build productive alliances with stakeholders is critical.
•Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
•Familiarity with HR systems such as PeopleSoft, Plateau, Kronos, Kenexa.
•Proficient in advanced statistical methods and predictive analytics
