Select is searching for committed and enthusiastic individuals to work in our research & development (R&D) group to develop, analyze and improve our selection and assessment solutions. You will be involved in a wide range of research projects, validation studies, report writing and product development and enhancement activities along with a team of other I/O psychologists. You will be challenged; and you will be expected to contribute ideas, to take on responsibility, and to learn things quickly. We have a very interactive, engaging and dynamic environment. This is particularly true of research consultants who have the opportunity to work with real world datasets from Global 1000 companies to answer applied and theoretical questions. By and large the research consultant position does not require travel, unless for special situations or projects, which are very rare.

• ABD, or Ph.D. in I/O Psychology.
• Demonstrated research proficiency (through presentations, publications, etc.)
• Willing and able to relocate to our headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
• Strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in statistical analysis and fluency with SPSS.
• Extremely organized and able to multi-task. Eager to learn and to get involved. Able to work with minimal direction, but willing to ask questions. Committed to achieving high standards. Works well with others, at all levels. Positive attitude. Persuasive. Excellent communicator. Sense of humor.
