Provide expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT initiatives supporting education and training organizations. Apply knowledge of classified computer networks, information security standards and guidelines, and instructional technologies to effectively implement and operate a distributed learning production and online dissemination environment. Format and structure training/course learning modules so they can be launched, tracked, and delivered by the industry standard Learning Management (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS). Assist in the design, development, and delivery of technology-mediated learning activities and tools including brown bags, online tutorials, and job aids. Demonstrate experience with incorporating new technologies into academic programs and administering an environment for faculty to test and integrate new technologies into the curriculum. Gather and disseminate feedback, reports, and metrics regarding learning development, delivery systems, applications, courses, and tools.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience supporting the design, development, and delivery of courses using asynchronous Distance Learning methodologies and applications (e.g. Saba’s Centra Symposium and Blackboard). 

-3+ years of experience preparing and integrating course material into Distance Learning applications.

-3+ years of experience developing and providing metrics information associated with student utilization of Distance Learning applications (i.e. Blackboard).

-3+ years of experience providing technical assistance to students, instructors, and course administrators in the use of the available Distance Learning applications.

-2+ years of experience with web based course development and delivery tools. 

-2+ years of experience with current virtual learning methodologies and tools.

-2+ years of experience with implementation of SCORM. 

-2+ years of experience with latest course content development tools such as Captivate, Articulate, Dreamweaver, FLASH. 

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Information Systems Management, or Instructional Systems Design and five (5) years of experience. In lieu of a Bachelors Degree an additional four 4 years for a total of 9 years of experience.
