About the Job

We have an opening for a Director of Sales.This full time position is very “hands on” and will be responsible for the development of new client relationships, and for the strategic and tactical sales activities. The winning candidate will have excellent service sales experience, an interest in and understanding of the OD field, strong interpersonal skills, and experience with the development and implementation of effective sales processes.

 

Description

  • Prospect and develop new client accounts
  • Proactively maintain all sales contacts through relentless follow-up of accounts
  • Manage partner/channel relationships
  • Create and deploy a strategic, integrated selling process to optimize the effectiveness of our selling resources and to understand/prioritize business development opportunities.
  • Work to integrate sales and marketing strategies, processes and tactics to optimize profitable growth

Job Requirements

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience (Masters in Organizational Development, or a related field is very desirable)
  • Ten (10) years of progressive responsibility in a services environment – preferably in a fast growing, medium size business consulting firm
  • Ability to think strategically, provide vision & leadership, and thrive in a deadline focused environment
  • Strong hands-on experience in direct major-account selling
  • Proven leader in driving new business
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, including experience with RFPs and RFIs
  • Poised collaborative leadership, working closely with others to cross-functionally meet client needs
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Unquestioned integrity, courage, risk-taking, and exceptional listening skills
  • Experience using and implementing CRM or ERP systems

Work experience in HR, OD, talent mgmt., performance mgmt., employee surveying or related field
