Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Organizational Behavior - Tenure Track

Job Summary:
The School of Management at the University of San Francisco seeks applicants for two tenure-track faculty positions (one at the assistant professor level, one at an open rank) starting in Fall 2014 (or sooner) in the fields of organizational behavior, management or organizational development.

Job Responsibilities:
Preference will given to applicants with expertise in one of the following areas: (1) international management; (2) conflict management and negotiation; (3) leadership and teams; (4) strategic human resources. Applicants should have successful experience teaching organizational behavior or related courses as well as relevant professional experience. The successful candidate will be assigned to the Department of Organization, Leadership and Communication and will have the opportunity to teach and develop courses closely related to her/his research.

Minimum Qualifications:
A successful candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications: (1) an earned research doctorate (Ph.D.) in organizational behavior, management, organizational development, organizational communication or a related field by the time of appointment; (2) an established or emerging active research program and pipeline with a career trajectory in a relevant topic area; and (3) an expectation of, or clear record of, excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate will be expected to conduct and undertake scholarly research in a collaborative and supportive environment that welcomes interdisciplinary and practice-oriented scholarship as well as discipline-based, theoretical work.
