About the Job

The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a world-renowned leadership development and research organization, has openings for a one-year (with the possibility of renewing for a total of up to three years) post-doctoral research fellows to work on several different research and evaluation projects related to the development of leadership.  These fellowships could be located in the United States, Belgium, or Singapore based on where the roles are needed.  As part of this fellowship, the fellows will be exposed to the Center’s expertise in leadership development and the evaluation research that underpins the development of leaders and leadership; and will be supported in publishing and presenting his or her own research.  CCL will benefit from the infusion of new thinking and skills that fellows bring from their educational experience.  CCL and the fellows will create and fulfill opportunities to do ground-breaking work around the world, extending the knowledge expertise for both.


Specific duties and responsibilities will vary according to assignment, but could include:  interviews and surveys; literature searches; data analysis; writing client reports and evaluation/research papers and other publications; managing and maintaining databases (quantitative and qualitative); participating in client/project team discussions and decisions regarding evaluation design, implementation, results, and communication; as well as other project duties as assigned.

Fellows will be assigned a supervisor and a mentor, both of whom are experts in the field of leadership development and evaluation; will be supported in attending and co-presenting at a conference with a CCL faculty member; and will be able to attend colloquia offered at CCL by internal and external speakers.  Salary will be disclosed upon application.  Any interested party should submit a cover letter, salary requirement and resume/vita to talent@ccl.org by December 17, 2012.  The Center for Creative Leadership is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Job Requirements

Candidates should have completed their Ph.D. within the last 3 years and before August 1, 2013 in a field related to evaluation and the social sciences (IO Psychology, Ed Psych Measurement, Social Psychology, Behavior Science, etc.).  A strong methodological background and presentations at major academic and practitioner conferences are required.  Experience with evaluations in a grant funded context are preferred.
