The Assembly of Scientist/Practitioner Psychologists (ASPP), a caucus of the Representatives of APA, is providing an expense paid trip to the February 2009 Council meeting in Washington D.C. for a doctoral student in psychology to become familiar with the governance structure of the APA Council and the caucuses and how they work.

At the Council meeting the student who receives the award will be mentored by the Chair of the ASPP.

The ASPP Board will review all submissions, select a student and announce the recipient after the August 2008 Council meeting.

Interested students may send their CV and a 100-word statement about their future plans as a Scientist-Practitioner to the Chair of the ASPP, Dr. Linda Sobell at sobelll@nova.edu. Deadline for submission is July 30, 2008.
