1. Call for Submissions to the 2012 APA Convention
The American Psychological Association will hold its Annual Convention in sunny Orlando, Florida from August 2-5, 2012! We would like to see a strong showing of SIOP members and to hear about your work! The submission deadline is December 1, 2011.
How do I submit?
Option 1: SIOP has a process that enables members to choose whether they would like any SIOP submission not accepted for the SIOP conference to be considered for presentation at APA. We encourage you to select this option when submitting your SIOP proposal this September! If you select this option, there is nothing else you need to do. We will be getting in touch with you in December if your submission has been accepted for presentation at APA.
Option 2: Submit a proposal directly to APA! The complete Call for Proposals will appear in the September issue of the Monitor on Psychology. All submissions (except those initially considered for the SIOP conference) must be received online via the APA website by December 1. Submissions will be considered from APA and/or SIOP members or from individuals sponsored by an APA or SIOP member. Individual paper submissions may be combined to form paper sessions or included in poster sessions.
