New Educational Outreach Program Seeks Volunteers
A new SIOP program is working to bring information about I-O psychology to those who may not have a chance to learn about the field.
The Educational Outreach Program (THEO) is a newly created listing of SIOP members who have agreed to travel locally and give introductory talks about industrial-organizational psychology. THEO focuses on coordinating efforts to promote and provide information about I-O to high school students, undergraduate college students, and other communities of interest across the country that do not currently have opportunities to learn about the field.
THEO currently has a listing of more than 200 SIOP members who have agreed to give talks to these communities, and we are seeking additional volunteers to help spread the word. If you are interested in signing up as a volunteer, or if you would like more information about the program, please visit the THEO homepage.
