Division 13 Mid-Winter Conference Scheduled for February
Every consulting and executive coaching engagement has unique meaning and value to the client and the consultant—but some engagements are more unique than others.
The 2014 Society of Consulting Psychology Mid-Winter Conference will be held in San Antonio, February 6-9, 2014. The focus of the 2014 MWC will be those engagements that have some quality of high-stakes coaching and consulting, as participants blend the concept of high-stakes consulting with several content-focused themes. A special invitation to attend has been extended to SIOP members.
The beautiful Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio will be the venue for the 22nd Annual Conference. The hotel is located on the world famous Riverwalk in San Antonio. Room rates are $189/night (those interested in room shares should post on the Division email list or Division Student email list). The SCP discounted rate is only valid through Jan. 15, 2014, and you can make your reservations online. SIOP members are eligible for the same low registration rate as SCP members.
Sessions will be presented on topics such as Selecting and Developing Learning-Agile Leaders for High Stakes and Tough Love at the Top of the House: Giving Feedback That Works for
C-Suite Executives. (Read the entire list of sessions here). SIOP Member Richard E. Boyatzis, PhD, Case Western Reserve University, ESADE, will be a keynote speaker, along with George Bradt, MBA, CEO Connection, Prime Genesis, and Hy Pomerance, PhD, New York Life Insurance Company.
