12/23/2015-

by SIOP Administrative Office

Early Registration Deadline February 17, 2016

Registration is now open for the premier event in industrial-organizational psychology, the 31st Annual SIOP Conference! The event will take place April 14-16, 2016 at the Hilton Anaheim and Anaheim Convention Center. Early registration rates are available now through February 17, 2016, so be sure you register soon!

With approximately 4,000 attendees, this is the largest conference of researchers and practitioners in I-O psychology in the world. Attending SIOP is much more cost effective and time efficient than participating in multiple seminars or webinars because you get all of the information you need in one place at one time for an incredibly reasonable price. It’s a great opportunity to build your career and glean information to address strategic issues within your organization. All of the conference details can be found here. You can also view the conference “Schedule at a Glance” here.

Plan Your Conference

After you have registered and booked your hotel room, start planning your conference. In the coming weeks, check out the Searchable Program and Scheduler to find conference sessions by title, author, topic, and more. You can then add the presentations you wish to attend to your personal schedule, which can be downloaded to your email, phone that supports .ical files, Excel, or PDF. If you want others to know what sessions you are attending, set your privacy settings to public.

SIOP Social Media

Follow the excitement leading up to and during the 31st Annual Conference on SIOP’s social media. From now until April, we will post announcements, news, and reminders about the conference on our Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts, in addition to my.SIOP. At the event, we will continue to post up-to-the-minute announcements and reminders, in addition to photos. Use the hashtag #SIOP16 to tweet about the event and find out what others are saying!

Tell Everyone About SIOP!

After you have finalized your own plans, let everyone know about SIOP’s annual conference by downloading and using one of our handy SIOP badges on the Conference Downloads Page. Have More Questions?

We look forward to seeing you in Anaheim!

*The spouse/guest registration permits an individual to accompany a regular conference registrant to receptions and the exhibit hall. This registration may also provide limited access to a session or sessions based on prior approval from the SIOP Administrative Office (e.g., attendance at the Opening Plenary or a session to see a spouse’s presentation). The “Spouse/Guest Registration” is NOT for individuals who would otherwise need to pay for a full registration. Presenters are expected to be paid registrants of the conference per the Call for Proposals.
