by SIOP Administrative Office

The Students and Academia Subcommittee of the Visibility Committee has put together a panel of faculty members from several schools to discuss the ins and outs of applying to graduate school in I-O psychology in a live webinar at 2 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 22.

Richard Landers of Old Dominion University moderates and the panelists include Russell Matthews - Bowling Green State University; Kurt Kraiger - Colorado State University; David Caughlin - Portland State University ; Maryana Arvan - University of South Florida; and Michael Schulman - Touro College.

Panelists will explore the differences in masters and PhD programs, the importance of the GRE, application etiquette, and how to craft a successful application. They are also prepared to answer questions from viewers.

Social media posts about the webinar have generated appreciative comments from prospective students, so questions are expected. After the live session, the webinar recording will become part of the SIOP YouTube channel.  More information about SIOP’s social media channels is available here.

Members of the Visibility Committee’s Student and Academia Subcommittee include Gary Coulton, Tori Crain, Erin Eatough (Chair), Pat Engelhardt, and MacKenna Perry.
