Talent Analytics: Data Science to Drive People Decisions and Business Impact

Registration Now Open for 2016 SIOP Leading Edge Consortium!

For a typical Fortune 1000 company, just a 10% increase in data accessibility could result in more than $65 million in additional net income, according to a recent Forbes article, (“Big Data: 20 Mind-Boggling Facts Everyone Must Read,” September 30, 2015).

Estimates suggest that by better integrating big data, healthcare could save as much as $300 billion a year — that’s equal to reducing costs by $1000 a year for every man, woman, and child. Retailers who leverage the full power of big data could increase their operating margins by as much as 60%.

Over the past several years, the topic of talent analytics has enjoyed a tremendous increase in popular attention. New technologies for gathering data, new analytic methodologies, and new approaches for displaying and exploring data all create opportunities for organizational insight and influence. Combining these new approaches with solid grounding in organizational science drives powerful insights and actions that can materially improve organizations.

The 12th  annual Leading Edge Consortium, “Talent Analytics: Data Science to Drive People Decisions and Business Impact,” will showcase the power and promise of combining organizational science with new and emerging methods in data collection, analysis, and display to deliver game-changing insight for organizations. This year’s consortium will take place at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta.

SIOP is especially pleased to welcome Alan Wild, vice president of Human Resources, Employee Relations and Engagement at IBM, and SIOP Fellow Dan Putka, Principal Staff Scientist at HumRRO, as keynote speakers for this year’s event. The consortium includes lunch on Friday and Saturday, breaks, and a reception on Thursday evening. Registration also includes access to all presentation materials from the event as well as the resource guide, a compilation of presenter references and citations to relevant articles, web pages, and publications on the topic of talent analytics.

Registration is $725, but the early registration fee of $645 is available to those registering on or before August 29, 2016. In order to ensure the highest quality experience for our attendees, registration will be limited. To avoid disappointment, we suggest you register promptly.
