Call for Papers and Date Change for 19th EAWOP Congress

The 19th EAWOP Congress will take place in Turin, Italy, May 29-June 1, 2019. The date has been changed from a previously announced date in early May.

EAWOP is the European Association for Work & Organizational Psychology. The EAWOP Congress will bring together scientists and practitioners from Europe and around the world in the historic early 20th Century FIAT building, repurposed as a meeting facility by internationally acclaimed Genoese architect Renzo Piano.

Congress organizers chose the theme “Working for the greater good: Inspiring people, designing jobs and leading organizations for a more inclusive society” in response to today’s climate of accelerated social change, economic and financial turbulence, and major dislocations of populations with an associated risk of significant social fragmentation.

Keynote speakers for the congress include Elena Cattaneo (senator for life of the Italian Republic, University of Milan), Evangelia Demerouti (Eindhoven University of Technology), Vicente González Romá (University of Valencia), David Holman (University of Manchester), Michelle “Mikki” Hebl (Rice University), and Sharon Parker (University of Western Australia).

The EAWOP Conference Program Committee invites proposals for oral presentations, symposia, posters, and panel discussions. Proposals should be submitted through the EAWOP Congress website by September 30, 2018. Contributions from both scientists and practitioners are welcome, as well as contributions that link scientific and practitioner approaches and perspectives.

EAWOP and SIOP are members, along with the Organizational Psychology Division of the International Association for Applied Psychology (IAAP-Division 1) and the Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (CSIOP), in the Alliance for Organizational Psychology (AOP).
