The SIOP Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Discussion Group:
SIOP-LGBT
The SIOP Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Discussion Group is
intended to facilitate interaction and collaboration among SIOP members who are
interested in LGBT research, with a particular emphasis on work-related topics.
Being part of a
listserv allows you the opportunity to send one e-mail message and reach a large
body of people. As a member of this
group, you will also receive the e-mail messages or posts sent by other members
to the list. These messages could
include discussions of research issues (e.g., sampling concerns,
theoretical implications, recent findings), publication-related questions (e.g.,
best outlet for a given manuscript), and other topics of interest (e.g., access
to research participants) to those conducting LGBT-related research.
The LGBT Discussion Group was also created to share information on
position openings, grant opportunities, and LGBT-friendly organizations.
The list should be used only for relevant, noncommercial
posts of interest to the overall group.
