can post an announcement on the bulletin board; if you need a room, check to
see if someone is canceling their reservation and needs to give their room

The Hilton in the Walt Disney
World Resort is our official 2003 SIOP Conference hotel. Most of our meetings
will be held at the Hilton, but the hotel is not large enough to accommodate all
of our meeting needs, so we also will be holding about 1/3 of our conference
sessions at the nearby Hotel Royal Plaza. (See the map of the Lake Buena
Vista resort area and Downtown Disney at http://www.downtowndisneyhotels.com/mappg.html.)
The distance between the two hotels is approximately mile. For those of
you who attended the 1996 or 2001 SIOP Conference in San Diego, the distance
between the Hilton and Royal Plaza is about the same as the distance between the
two towers of the Sheraton at Harbor Island. Shuttle service between the
two hotels will be provided.
We have arranged large blocks
of sleeping rooms at each hotel. The SIOP conference is during the height
of April tourist season. Our conference rates are very competitive for
quality resort hotels in Orlando. Both the Hilton and the Royal Plaza
require a one-night room deposit which is non-refundable in the event that your
reservation is cancelled less than 90 days prior to the beginning of your
scheduled stay. (Click here for

the services and amenities available at the Hilton and Royal Plaza to guide you
in making your reservations.
When making reservations,
be sure to ask the hotel to confirm the last date that you will be able to
cancel without a penalty!

The Hilton in the Walt Disney
World Resort is our headquarters hotel for the 2003 SIOP Conference. The Hilton
has recently been renovated and has very comfortable, nicely decorated guest
rooms. The Hiltons three restaurants range from casual to upscale, and
there are also comfortable lounges for conference participants to meet with
friends. The hotel offers outstanding business services. Leisure and
family amenities include a fitness center, pool, video arcade, car rental desk,
babysitting service and ready access to Downtown Disney shops and restaurants.

The
Hotel Royal Plaza offers excellent, elegantly decorated guest rooms. The
hotel features a large casual restaurant where children 12 and under eat free,
along with several lounges where conference participants can congregate with
friends. Leisure and family amenities include a fitness center, pool and
spa, lighted tennis courts, free transportation to the Disney resorts, and a
short walk to Downtown Disney shops and restaurants.

Courtyard by Marriott in the Walt Disney World Resort offers spacious guest
rooms. All rooms are equipped with Web TV, high speed internet access, and
regular dial-up connections. The Courtyard has a casual restaurant, 2GO snack
bar, which includes Pizza Hut and the Tipsey Parrot Lounge. All guests enjoy
complimentary transportation to all the Disney Theme Parks as well as Downtown
Disney Pleasure Island.

The
Doubletree Guest Suites in the Walt Disney World Resort is the only all-suite
resort hotel inside the Downtown Disney Resort area.
All rooms are deluxe one-bedroom suites with a spacious dining area,
separate living room, sofa bed, and two color televisions.
For your comfort and convenience, transportation is provided
complimentary to the four major Disney Theme parks every half hour.
The Doubletree is conveniently located across the street from the
