Dave Nershi, Executive Director

SIOP has seen remarkable growth in both membership and impact to the general public under the leadership of Executive Director Dave Nershi. He oversees the Administrative Office team and works with Executive Board and volunteer leaders to carry out goals of the 8,000-member professional society. He implements policies of the Executive Board and establishes short-term goals for the administrative office that reflect long-term SIOP strategic goals. A major responsibility is planning, preparing and managing the annual conference and Leading Edge Consortium. He is a Certified Association Executive and has gained marketing, communications and association management experience through prior work as Executive Vice President of the National Exchange Club, Executive Director of Marketing for the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce, and as a newspaper and magazine editor. He received his BA in Art from West Virginia Wesleyan College. He enjoys playing tennis and wine blogging. Dave lives in Perrysburg, Ohio, with his wife, Kathy, and dog Amber.

Linda Lentz, Director of Administrative Services

Linda Lentz serves the Society as the Director of Administrative Services. Linda plays an integral role in guiding the administrative affairs of SIOP by working closely with Society Leaders. From developing the annual budget with the Financial Officer and Portfolio Officers, providing support for the Awards and Fellows Chairs, and serving as the liaison for the SIOP Foundation Board, Linda can be counted on to offer first class service. She holds a BBA in finance from the University of Toledo.  Linda enjoys genealogy, golf, and spending time with her husband Bob and children Nick and Miranda.

Jenny Baker, Publications Manager

Publications Manager Jenny Baker prepares the conference program, TIP, IOP, and many other print and web materials. She also handles much of the conference logistics: designing and ordering t-shirts, designing the conference bag art, preparing printed materials and signage, and shipping all materials to the conference site, as well as preparing artwork as needed. Formerly the assistant managing editor of Personnel Psychology, she has worked with the Hakels since 2001 and officially became part of the SIOP team in 2004. She holds a bachelor’s in Scientific and Technical Communication from Bowling Green State University. Jen and her husband Duane live outside BG in the country with their dogs, two cats, two donkeys, and a goat. Jen enjoys gardening, baking, shopping, camping and traveling, and reading.

Stephany Below, Communications Manager

Stephany BelowStephany is the Communications Manager at SIOP, leading internal and external communications, marketing, media relations, content development, social media, and various visibility efforts. Her duties include developing content for the SIOP website, editing the monthly Newsbriefs newsletter, designing various promotional and educational pieces, and marketing SIOP events and services. Stephany was very involved in SIOP’s recent rebranding efforts and recently spearheaded work with SIOP’s Visibility Committee to develop the annual Top 10 Workplace Trends list, Top Minds and Bottom Lines event series, and Smarter Workplace Awareness Month (September). Stephany is also active with SIOP’s Electronic Communications Committee on projects such as the my.SIOP member community and promoting the use of social media. She has worked at SIOP since 2008 and was previously a newspaper reporter. She holds a BA in journalism from Miami University. When not at the office, she enjoys traveling, cooking/eating great food, and spending time with her family.

Rae Rembowski, IT Business Systems Analyst

As the IT Systems Business Analyst at SIOP, Rae's primary focus is the organization’s software systems and working with vendors to enhance the products to meet the organization’s needs.  She came to SIOP from the healthcare industry where she spent 25 years focusing on information technology, telecommunications, revenue cycle, project management, operations, and leadership.  Rae graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor degree in IT Leadership.  She resides in Luna Pier, Michigan on Lake Erie with her son Ritchie.


Larry Nader, IT Manager

Larry NaderLarry Nader is the IT Manager at SIOP. His responsibilities include database, network, computer, and software management, and helpdesk for SIOP members. He has been with SIOP since 1998. Prior to SIOP he owned and operated a radio station in California for 5 years and a printing/graphic design business for 10 years. He spent 2 years as a technical writer for the Microwave Instruments Division (MID) of Hewlett Packard (now called Keysight Technologies). He has a BA in Communications from the College of Wooster. He attained an FFC general operator’s license to be a radio station Chief Engineer. He has over 30 years of experience with computer technology.

Jim Rebar, Web Content Specialist

Jim RebarJim serves as SIOP's web content specialist. He is responsible for all the static content on the SIOP website. Additionally, he maintains the Graduate Training Program database, updates committee rosters, and processes all the ads for The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist (TIP) and the annual conference program. Prior to joining SIOP, Jim worked as a photographer, web and graphics specialist, and system administrator at the Northwest Signal newspaper in Napoleon, Ohio. He retired from the Federal Government after 30 years working as an intelligence analyst and computer requirements professional. Jim has a BA in Russian and an MA in Slavic Languages and Literatures from The Pennsylvania State University. He served 4 years in Germany in the U.S. Army before attending college. He is married to Carolyn and lives in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Jayne Tegge, Member Services Specialist

Jayne TeggeThe friendly voice answering the phone in the SIOP office is probably Jayne Tegge, who is SIOP's Member Services Specialist. She recently joined the staff after eight years as a librarian, and is still in the learning phase. Her duties include membership applications, renewals, dues payments and records, as well as the SIOP Store, and the Executive Board Briefing Book. Jayne graduated from the University of Dayton with a BA in Communications. She and her husband, Tim, just sent their only daughter off to college and are now learning how to fill their empty (and finally neat!) nest. Jayne is an avid cook, cookbook collector, food preserver and all things “foodie.” She has a huge garden, and squeezes in as much reading as possible at all times.

Tracy Vanneman, Programs and CE Services Manager

Tracy VannemanAs the Programs and CE Services Manager, Tracy works on many aspects of the SIOP membership and event attendee experience, including managing the administration of the continuing education program, event planning for the conference and LEC, building relationships with exhibitors and event sponsors, implementing special projects, and recruiting and retaining members. Mrs. Vanneman joined the SIOP Administrative Office staff in 2008. Previously, she worked in development and event planning at Toledo Botanical Garden in Toledo, OH, as well as in newspaper advertising sales at the News & Observer in Raleigh, NC. Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. Her husband, Jake, is a high school teacher and basketball coach, and they have four children: Lila, Nora, and twins, Cole and Cori. Tracy enjoys spending time with her family, watersports, being outdoors, and traveling (particularly to Walt Disney World!)

Clif Boutelle, Media Relations

Clif BoutelleClif started working as a consultant at SIOP in 2000 after 35 years at Bowling Green State University, retiring in 1999 as associate vice president of marketing and communications. Lee Hakel, who then headed the SIOP Administrative Office in Bowling Green, asked him if he would be interested in doing some part-time promotional work for the field of I-O and the work being done by SIOP members. Clif was familiar with I-O because of BGSU’s outstanding I-O program and working with people like Bob Guion and Olin and Pat Smith. He has been at SIOP since and has greatly enjoyed working with and meeting so many outstanding members. When not at the office, he can usually be found on the golf course or traveling with his wife, Judy, to visit their children and grandchildren.
