What is I-O?

Industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology is the scientific study of the workplace. Rigor and methods of psychology are applied to issues of critical relevance to business, including talent management, coaching, assessment, selection, training, organizational development, performance, and work-life balance.

2010 Small Grant Award Winners

Autumn D. Krauss, Kronos, Donald M. Truxillo, Portland State University, and Talya N. Bauer, Portland State Univ-ersity, earned their grant for research entitled “The Effects of Explanations on Applicant Attitudes and Behaviors: A Typology for ­­Applicant Explanations and Field Study.­­­­­­­”
