The successful candidate will join a department with a strong B.S. in Psychology, undergraduate minors in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Human Resource Management, 3 certificate programs, and a Masters in Applied Psychology. The M.S. program has concentrations in Industrial/Organizational, Evaluation Research, and Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.  The department has excellent teaching and research facilities supporting many opportunities for faculty/student collaboration in the classroom and lab.  In addition, the University is located near Minneapolis-St. Paul in a growing area of Western Wisconsin providing numerous opportunities for business consulting.

About the Job

Faculty members teach the equivalent of 12 credits per semester. Faculty are expected to engage in an active program of scholarship with students, provide academic advisement, advise graduate theses, participate in university service, and support a culture of collegiality and civility.

Preferred Qualifications – experience/ interest in:

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate level research methods/statistics
  • Teaching additional courses in area of expertise (e.g., Personnel Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management); and general psychology
  • Research collaboration with undergraduate and graduate students in areas of expertise
  • Graduate thesis advisement
  • Service and leadership

Job Requirements

PhD in I/O Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a closely-related field by date of employment is required.
