About the Job

The Director Organizational Effectiveness partners with the Vice President Talent to develop and execute the Organizational Effectiveness strategy for JetBlue. The Director is responsible for high level leadership consulting and all organizational effectiveness initiatives including leadership development, coaching, professional development, large scale change management initiatives and organizational development. The Director leads a team that builds and supports talent development programs to internally grow the leadership bench strength for senior leader roles. The Director also ensures the success of the OE team by providing on-going development and coaching.

Job Requirements

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree required in Education, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, Human Resources or related field
  • Seven (7) to Ten (10) years experience in the Organizational Development, Psychology, Consulting, and/or broad Human Resources or related fields
  • Seven (7) to Ten (10) years leadership experience
  • Experience facilitating large groups
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (20%)
  • Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located


Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience developing large scale emerging leader or similar talent development programs
  • Broad talent management experience (succession planning, competency development, etc)
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years talent acquisition or HR generalist experience
  • Project management experience on large scale, cross departmental projects
  • Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR)
  • Executive Coaching certification, and/or experience coaching executives
