PURPOSE OF THE JOB
SHL’s Client Solutions Consulting Practice is a team of
business-savvy I/O Psychologists dedicated to improving the
customer experience and inflecting revenue outcomes by
articulating/translating how SHL’s content and services map to
specific customer challenges. The members of the Client Solutions
team are responsible for preparing and delivering presentations in
high-pressure selling situations. Things move very quickly on this
team, and team members are expected to thrive in ambiguous
situations.
Specifically, we are looking for a Senior Client Solutions
Consultant to advise SHL’s new and prospective customers on
assessment best practices during the sales process. This individual
will partner with SHL’s sales professionals to provide high-end
consultation throughout the sales process to diagnose customer
needs, shape proposals/recommendations, and present technical
elements of proposals to customers. The role requires a unique
blend of business acumen, influencing skills, and I/O expertise,
and is ideal for early to mid-career consultants who are looking
for a challenge, recognition, and an increase in responsibility.
Frequent travel is required.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support company revenue growth by
articulating/translating how SHL’s content and services can address
our customers’ specific organizational challenges
- Serve as an expert I/O resource to individuals across all
customer-facing teams
- Partner with revenue team (in-person meetings, webinars, phone
calls, written correspondence) to engage customers, diagnose
customer needs, align SHL products and services to these
needs
- Support effective market positioning through understanding key
competitors, developing messaging around key differentiators, and
contributes to the creation of internal/external sales collateral
as needed
