About the Organization

Altisource® is a provider of services focused on high value, knowledge-based functions principally related to real estate and mortgage portfolio management, asset recovery and customer relationship management. Utilizing integrated technology that includes decision models and behavioral based scripting engines, we provide solutions that improve our clients’ performance and maximize their returns.

Altisource has three primary business segments including:

Mortgage Services - Mortgage portfolio management services that span the mortgage lifecycle (e.g. origination, valuation, closing and title services, default management services, asset management and component services)

Technology Products – REALSuite of applications (residential and commercial loan servicing, loss mitigation, vendor management and electronic invoice presentment and payment software) as well as our IT infrastructure services.

Financial Services - asset recovery and customer relationship management.

Altisource is developing a reputation as the preeminent knowledge based provider of its services. Our focus is on leveraging technology and a global service delivery model to provide highly efficient, accurate support of the industries we service. Unique intellectual property, such as behavioral-science principles, artificial intelligence driven scripting engines and risk decision models are used to reduce performance variability, improve compliance and improve overall performance for Altisource and its clients.

The Vice President, Organizational Development will provide thought leadership, processes, tools, and resources to support the implementation of high-value initiatives. The incumbent will drive talent management and leadership development strategies as well as all tools/processes required to support succession planning, talent assessment, performance management, competency identification and development, and coaching. They will Lead OD interventions in areas such as: job design, organization structure, workforce planning and behavioral and culture change.

The focus of the VP of OD is to develop the organization from a performance and culture perspective by implementing and overseeing programs that increase efficiency, strengthen employee knowledge and abilities, improve leadership and maintain the overall health of a company. This position will work closely with the Altisource management team to identify, develop and implement strategic organizational effectiveness initiatives designed to enhance employee performance, development and engagement. This position will report directly to the Chief Administration Officer and General Counsel.

About the Job

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with Altisource leadership to analyze organizational needs, identify performance improvement opportunities, recommend and implement performance improvement initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Participate in the identification and development of a competency model to be used throughout various organizational programs
  • Oversee and provide guidance to team members, as necessary, in the design, development and evaluation of all formal courses and training materials
  • Facilitate OD training sessions for selected groups
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic direction to initiatives like the Learning Strategy, Organizational Design & Workforce Planning Practice, and Change Management
  • Work closely with the leadership team to increase “corporate” core competencies in people, processes and purpose
  • Provide coaching to leaders and executives on organizational growth

 

Key Result Areas:

  • Ensuring strategic direction and implementation of organizational development initiatives companywide.
  • Developing and managing an action-plan which encompasses:
    • Assessment of leadership talent; identification of talent strengths, weaknesses and opportunities
    • Work closely with management to define and develop a series of leadership skills, abilities and experiences to enable candidates to be promoted into key leadership positions
    • Succession planning and planned job movement
    • Identification and development of high potential talent
  • Developing the company’s global perspective and its International management team
  • Designing and delivering learning experiences to help the company’s human capital improve overall organization effectiveness

Job Requirements

This position requires the following qualifications:

  • MBA/MS/MA from top tier accredited school preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in high-impact Human Resources organizations—with at least 3 years of experience in an OD management role
  • A track record of success in managing programs/processes to develop leaders
