The Deputy Director, Human Resource Services (HRS) manages HR operational programs in assigned divisions which may include Labor Relations, EEO, ADA, Selection, Operations and/or Payroll. Responsibilities include direct oversight of operational units; development and implementation of policies and procedures in compliance with relevant CCSF and PUC policies, federal, state and local legislation; selection, training, supervision and evaluation of the performance of subordinate unit managers; design and implementation of enhancements and modifications to HR systems and processes; and oversight of department-wide compliance activities, including personnel records maintenance, conflict of interest reporting and other HR-related programs and initiatives.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The normal annual salary range is $109,122 to $139,282. Appointment above the maximum of the normal range may be considered based on documented and substantiated recruitment and retention issues or exceptional skills. A special approval process is necessary for appointment above the normal salary range.
