About the Job

Assistant Professor – Tenure Track
Industrial/Organizational Psychology
Department of Psychology

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology
  • Must be qualified and willing to teach courses in industrial/organizational and applied psychology, research methods, statistics, and introductory psychology
  • Advise students and maintain a schedule of office hours
  • Attend meetings and engage in service as needed
  • Maintain an active research program involving undergraduate and graduate students

Job Requirements

  • Ph.D. or ABD (with Ph.D. by August 2018) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government certified university).
  • Experience teaching at college/university level as a graduate assistant, instructor, or above
  • Demonstrated ability to teach face-to-face and online classes
  • Demonstrated active research agenda and associated peer-reviewed professional productivity
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with others within the University community
  • Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multi-cultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
