Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Psychology or Education or equivalent
experience
• experience in developing assessment tools or experience working
in Human Resources or related field
• knowledge of selection and performance evaluation principles,
theory, design and methodologies, and how to apply this knowledge
to create successful business solutions
• knowledge of assessment concepts including basic statistics,
research design, selection tool development, performance evaluation
design, validation, and an understanding of how HR systems are
integrated
• knowledge of the legal implications associated with the
development and implementation of HR processes (e.g., adverse
impact, etc.)
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ability to communicate complex HR concepts to others
• ability to work well with others in a team environment
• excellent organizational and time management skills
• ability to apply creative thinking
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ability to be flexible in dealing with multiple assignments at
one time
• ability to work independently and productively
• professionalism and an ability to maintain confidentiality, and
• working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters Degree in Industrial /
Organizational Psychology or related field
• experience with work in selection and/or performance evaluation
development in large scale and/or retail environments, and
• knowledge of Publix’s HR processes and business operations and
strategies
