What is I-O?

Industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology is the scientific study of the workplace. Rigor and methods of psychology are applied to issues of critical relevance to business, including talent management, coaching, assessment, selection, training, organizational development, performance, and work-life balance.

2010 LEC Partners

The October LEC event will bring together thought leaders from academia and practice to focus on the robust topic of teams and team leadership. We will hear from speakers covering a wide range of issues such as team structure, team effectiveness, team leadership, virtual teams, and team engagement. We will engage the speakers and the participants alike in discussions about the practice and science of teams and will apply the discussion to public, private, and military settings. There will be numerous take-aways from the conference and the day and a half event promises to be exciting!

Consortium includes lunch on Friday and Saturday, breaks, and receptions on Thursday and Friday evening. Registration fee is $425 on or before August 28, 2010.  After the early registration deadline the fee is $495.
