SIOP Fall Consortium
Leadership at the Top: The Selection, Globalization, and Ethics of Executive Talent
October 28-29, 2005
Westin St. Louis
St. Louis, Missouri
Many CEOs emphasize that executive talent
management is their most important asset. Their management of this
talent-- identification, globalization, development -- is critical to
the success of the organization. This consortium brings together
leading edge thinkers -- researchers, HR executives, and philosophers
-- to discuss current activities and what we know about talent. The
discussions focus on the selection, globalization, development, ethics,
and management of executive talent.
The consortium is organized around three questions:
- What are we doing?
- What do we know?
- How do we move forward?
The consortium integrates the science and the application
of industrial and organizational psychology in addressing real organizational
issues.
Registration: Cost is $495. Discounted registration
fee of $425 is available if you register on or before August 29. Consortium
includes lunch on Friday and Saturday, breaks and a
reception Friday evening.
