Cindy McCauley
2006 Leading Edge Consortium Science Chair
 Cindy McCauley is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). During her tenure at CCL, she has held various positions in research and management. She co-developed two of CCL’s assessment instruments, Benchmarks and the Job Challenge Profile. Her research has focused on how leaders develop over their careers and on the effective use of developmental interventions (360-degree feedback, job assignments, developmental relationships, and formal development programs). She has written numerous articles and book chapters for scholars, HR professionals, and practicing managers, and is a regular speaker at professional conferences. She is co-editor with Ellen Van Velsor of The Center for Creative Leadership Handbook of Leadership Development. Cindy is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She received her Ph.D. in I-O psychology from the
University of
Georgia .
