Topical Dinners


Join your colleagues for a relaxing discussion of topics of the day at a top Charlotte restaurant. The Topical Dinners, a popular optional feature of the Leading Edge Consortium, are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 27. We’ll make the reservations and provide transportation (where needed). Each participant is responsible for all costs of their dinner.


Information on each restaurant is provided below. A variety of cuisines and prices are available. Please use the appropriate link to select your restaurant for the Topical Dinners (available only for Consortium registrants). You will be able to see a list of other Consortium attendees that have selected that restaurant. 


Restaurant selections are on a first-come first-served basis. Space is limited and varies by restaurant. Your selection must be made no later than October 18.  


Topical Dinner Restaurant Choices: 
La Bibliotheque 

La Bibliotheque, a restaurant of excellence, specializes in French, American, and Continental cuisine. Charlotte’s oldest traditional fine dining restaurant prides itself in pleasing the palate of the most discriminating diner with delectable dishes, warm and inviting ambience, and classical service. Ms. Brenda Bowling, proprietress is well known and respected in the hospitality and business communities alike, and our guests appreciate her personal approach to ensuring their enjoyment of each dining and entertainment experience, whether it be an intimate dinner for two, a private party, or corporate event. The Grill

The Grill offers a superb collection of fine wines to accompany prime chops and seafood. American cuisine served in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Located in the Consortium hotel. 

Maggiano’s Little Italy

Maggiano's Little Italy invites you to take a step back in time and enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of pre-World War II Little Italy. Red-checked tablecloths, family portraits, leather banquettes and richly polished mahogany wood provide a warm ambiance and welcome you to an atmosphere where you will truly enjoy a unique dining experience.

For lunch or dinner, whether you are celebrating one of life's momentous occasions or just feel like enjoying a home-cooked meal, Maggiano's Little Italy is the one dining experience that has all the right ingredients.


Frank Manzetti’s Tavern 

Famous for its thick “Pittsburgh-style” steaks, Frank Manzetti’s Tavern at Southpark has become a Charlotte tradition. The recent addition of several popular menu items from the Tavern restaurants in Atlanta and Jupiter, FL is the new “buzz” in town. The extensive menu also includes creative sandwiches and salads, seafood and pasta dishes. Stone Crabs are served in season. Additional information.
