Nuts and Bolts:  Implementing a Global System  (Breakout Session)

As a parallel to yesterday’s session, this highly interactive session will focus on the “how to’s” behind implementing global selection systems.  Participants will choose from among 6 breakout groups and rotate through 3 of these to share thoughts or pose questions to others.  Topics will include effective monitoring of global systems, internal marketing of systems, managing the local staffing environment, centralization and standardization versus local variation, and two topics that emerge from the previous days discussions.  Each breakout will have a facilitator to keep the discussion flowing.

Learning Objectives
1.  Compare approaches to implementing global selection systems
2.  Apply prior experiences to problems posed in implementation in different organizational contexts and cultures
3.  Assess relative effectiveness of methods of meeting prototypical challenges in implementation for use on a global scale.
