Matt formed Redmond Leadership Consulting to partner with business leaders in creating innovative talent, leadership, and organizational effectiveness strategies and programs. Core practices include Talent Assessment, Talent Management, Leadership Development, and Executive Coaching. Clients include Save the Children, Tokio Marine, Ann Taylor, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Matt’s past experience includes serving as the vice president of Organizational Capability for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide where he spent 5 years leading the design and delivery of inspiring recruitment, selection, talent management, and leadership development programs across Starwood’s 10 brands and 140,000 global associates. While at Starwood, Matt planned and led several large-scale organizational change and transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining Starwood, Matt served as Senior Vice President and Office Head for Aon Consulting where he spent over 12 years providing HR consulting to a variety of Fortune 1000 organizations. Key specialty areas included Organizational Assessment, Competency Modeling, Recruitment and Selection, Performance Measurement, Training and Development, Leadership Assessment and Development, Coaching, and Change Management. Past clients included American Express, Bell Atlantic, Capital One, Duracell, Eastman, the FBI, FP&L, Frigidaire, Gillette, Harley Davidson, Hewlett Packard, International Paper, Merck, Motorola, Pepsi, Philip Morris, Texas Instruments, Turner Broadcasting, Verizon, Waffle House, Wawa, and Yale Material Handing.

Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from James Madison University in Virginia and his Doctorate of Philosophy in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a member of APA, APT, SIOP, ODGNY, SHRM, and HRPS.
