Wind down the evening with your colleagues starting with good food and conversation at one of Tampa's many top restaurants. We have selected six outstanding restaurants for the Networking Dinners, a popular optional feature of the Leading Edge Consortium. The Networking Dinners are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 22. We will make the reservations. Each participant is responsible for all costs of their dinner.

Restaurant selections are on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited and varies by restaurant.

Jackson's Bistro, located in the very heart of downtown, has become a Tampa landmark for its wine list, fabulous cuisine, upbeat social environment, upscale bar and live entertainment. The menu features seasonal ingredients in its daily chef's specials. Choose from the extensive sushi menu for something light to nibble on or order up surf and turf treats like grilled mahi or pistachio-crusted rack of lamb. Jackson's is one of the few waterfront places downtown to grab a cold drink and take in the view of one of Florida's breathtaking sunsets.
Aside from offering killer Margaritas and Sangrias, this beautiful restaurant brings “a little taste of Spain” to the Tampa Bay area. Featuring tapas (small plates), everything from Shrimp Ceviche to Salmon and Filet. Socialize! This energetic concept and the sharing of food and the up-tempo atmosphere encourages conversation and camaraderie in the very social Spanish tradition.
Bernini of Ybor
Bernini calls itself an “eclectic eatery” that boasts an “array of culinary delights.” Its menu changes constantly and includes pizza and pasta, as well as entrées that might include veal chop or Pork Osso Buco. Housed in the historic Bank of Ybor City building, Bernini reflects the Italian culture that’s part of Ybor City’s history. USA Today declared it a “place to get authentic Italian grub in an unforgettable setting.” That setting includes prints of sculptures by Renaissance artist Giovanni Lorenzo Bernini, founder of the baroque style of art.
Columbia Restaurant Ybor
From humble beginnings in 1905, the Columbia has grown to be known internationally as America's oldest, largest and finest Spanish restaurant. Throughout the years, the Columbia has always been the place for excellent meals and the finest entertainment. Some of the world's most-talented flamenco dancers have been featured here, including internally known dancer, Jose Greco. The Ybor City location is a designated national landmark and is much more than a restaurant. It is a dining experience. Now in its fourth and fifth generation of family ownership and operation, it is the oldest restaurant in Florida and the largest Spanish restaurant in the world.
Oystercatchers (special networking dinner prix fixe menu, $55 excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity)
A delight for the eyes as well as the palate, this secluded Tampa Florida restaurant is a perennial favorite. Hidden among a natural landscape just 150 yards from the consortium hotel, the new Oystercatchers delights those who seek tastes from the Gulf of Mexico. Oystercatchers’ menu highlights an array of the freshest wild and line caught fish available prepared grilled, blackened or sauteed with a variety of sauces and relishes to complement them. Chef de Cuisine Kory Foltz, artfully blends the freshest catch with innovative touches, as only one born to the water can do.
