Networking Dinners

Wind down the evening with your colleagues starting with good food and conversation at one of Louisville's many top restaurants. We have selected 5 outstanding restaurants for the Networking Dinners, a popular optional feature of the Leading Edge Consortium. The Networking Dinners are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14. We will make the reservations.  Each participant is responsible for all costs of their dinner.

Click on the link for each restaurant to access menus and restaurant details.  Please use the large button at the bottom of the page to select your restaurant for the Networking Dinners (available only for consortium registrants). You will be able to see a list of other consortium attendees that have selected that restaurant.

Restaurant selections are on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited and varies by restaurant.

Make sure to visit each restaurant's Web site for a complete list of menu items.  Just click on the name of the restaurant.

Restaurant Choices:

For 8 consecutive years The Oakroom has been awarded the coveted AAA Five Diamond Award. The Oakroom has also achieved the Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence for 9 years running. Specializing in the culinary art of the Bluegrass, the Oakroom offers eclectic versions of regional cuisine. Dress is business casual (jackets recommended).
While the interior is sleek and minimalist, an inventive menu offers more complex taste sensations such as duck-confit spring rolls and the Thai crab cakes. The 57 foot wood topped bar is outlined in Italian onyx and stocked with over 60 bourbons from Kentucky distilleries. Ambiance and culinary expertise combine to offer a memorable dining experience.
For almost a year Irish craftsmen worked meticulously in county Wicklow, Ireland to restore Ri Ra Irish Pub before shipping it to its new home on 4th Street in Louisville. Rí Rá features an impressive 50 foot Victorian bar from the early 1900s. Much more than a pub, it is also a high quality eatery, where the emphasis is on a fusion of traditional Irish Fare and classic American favorites with an Irish twist.
A rich, contemporary, polished atmosphere for dining with a mixture of cuisines from traditional American classics and modern world flavors. Core ingredients include prime aged beef and fresh seafood flown in daily from Hawaii and other coasts around the globe.
The art that hangs in Proof on Main will either provoke or please you, but it won't fail to capture your eyes and imagination. Many entrees are products of Kentucky agriculture, but with a Tuscan influence.
