Trent Burner, MA, SPHR
Trent Burner is the Senior Director, Job Analysis, Selection Strategy & Assessments for Walmart Stores, Inc., one of the world's largest multinational organizations.
Trent oversees the job analysis process as well as the assessment and staffing decisions of more than 5.5 million candidates per year in the US and is responsible for supporting Walmart's talent acquisition requirements throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Trent has also led global HR initiatives in the areas of Engagement Surveys, Performance Management, Employment Practices, and Executive Development.
Trent is an adjunct faculty member of Harding University where he teaches Consumer Psychology, HR Fundamentals and Business Leadership classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Trent holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Akron. He is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society of Human Resources Management.
