Anna Clark is the author of Green, American Style and the president of EarthPeople, a sustainability communications firm. Since 2005, Anna has created and executed branding, corporate social responsibility, and public relations strategies for resource-conscious organizations including JCPenney, Inc., The Salvation Army, Gardere Law Firm, and the City of Austin. A featured columnist for Greenbiz.com, Anna’s ideas have appeared in The Guardian, The Christian Science Monitor, USA Today, Huffington Post, and The Dallas Morning News.
Anna is a 2012 fellow of The OpEd Project, a social venture dedicated to transforming women into thought leaders. She is also an advisor to the Sustainability Forum of The Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture and to Shark Stewards, a non-profit dedicated to conserving oceans through the protection of sharks.
Before orienting her career toward specialized communications, Anna was a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM. Anna holds a B.A. in government from UT Austin and is presently doing graduate work through Johns Hopkins University, researching ways to use new media to shape public opinion. Anna lives with her family in one of the first residences in Dallas to earn a Platinum LEED-certified rating from the U.S. Green Building Council.
