Alberto J. Galue

Alberto J. Galue PH.D., Director, Talent Sourcing and Development, Baylor Scott & White Health, Talent and Organization Development (T&OD)

Dr. Galue is currently Director in the Baylor Scott & White Health Organizational Strategy organization. He is responsible for the strategy and deployment of talent planning, performance management, goal setting, learning and development, and talent sourcing across Baylor Scott & White Health. He also oversees executive succession planning and development, coaching and assessment services at the senior executive and c-suite leadership level.     

Prior to Baylor Scott & White Health, Dr. Galue was Global Manager – Assessment and Coaching Services at Texas Instruments.  In this role, he managed professional staff in the development and management of Texas Instruments’ assessment and coaching strategy. 

Dr. Galue began his career in 1991 with Verizon Communications (formerly GTE) where he held several positions of increasing responsibility in the development and execution of strategies related to job analysis, competency development, employee selection, assessment, and leadership development.

Dr. Galue received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Tulane University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. degree in Psychology and minor in French from Boston University. 

In addition to his academic education, Dr. Galue has also participated in international programs at the Universite de Strasbourg and Syracuse University in Strasbourg, France; and the Institute of European Studies in Paris, France.

His professional affiliations include the American Psychological Association (APA), Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society, the Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and The Dearborn Group.
