Matthew Paese, PhD

Matthew Paese, PhD, is Vice President of Executive Succession Management at DDI.  He leads DDI’s practice areas in succession management, CEO and executive assessment, and executive coaching.  He is responsible for the development, research, sales, and delivery approaches surrounding these methodologies.  Matt has consulted with CEOs and senior teams from many leading organizations around the world to design and implement strategic talent initiatives, including organizational talent strategy, succession management, CEO succession, executive assessment, executive coaching and development, and executive team building.

Author of many articles on talent and succession management, and co-author of the book Grow Your Own Leaders, Matt directs consultants, executive coaches, and senior assessors in implementing talent initiatives aimed at senior-level populations in major corporations throughout the world.  He has consulted extensively with executives from many organizations including Nissan, Edward Jones, BP, Walmart, ING, Infosys, Merck, McGraw-Hill, Cisco Systems, Hertz, Toyota, Microsoft, Quest Diagnostics, Raytheon, Boeing, Bank of America, Georgia Pacific, the United Nations, and many other global and domestic clients.
