Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Scientific Affairs Committee
Goals:
1) Gain greater awareness among agencies of the Federal Government (funding & policy-setting) for the expertise of SIOP members.
2) Develop a structured approach to build expertise within the SIOP membership for enhancing the advocacy and funding of organizational science.
Primary Actions:
1) Organize a Task Force to examine the goals, means, and methods of scientific advocacy to the Federal Government by SIOP.
2) Build the membership and structure of the scientific affairs committee to support organized, consistent, and long-term advocacy by SIOP.
