Advertise in TIP

The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist (TIP) is the official newsletter of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Inc., Division 14 of the American Psychological Association and an organizational affiliate of the Association for Psychological Science. TIP is distributed digitally four times a year to more than 6,000 Society members. In addition, TIP is distributed to international affiliates, graduate students, leaders of APA and APS, and individual and institutional subscribers. Current circulation is approximately 7500 copies per issue.

Premium Ad Positions

TIP has 3 premium display ad spots available per issue. These ads are reserved each year in October. The premium positions are the Page 1, Page 6 (after table of contents/before president’s column), and back cover. Advertisers can reserve placement for one premium ad only but the discount price applies if 3 or more nonpremium ads are also ordered. If you have already placed an insertion order, you may still reserve a premium spot.

Banner Ads

Banner ads are 60 x 1000 pixels, full color, hyperlinked, and will cycle every 10 seconds. They will appear above the TIP page in the browser.  There is a limit of 4 banner ads per issue.  Cost is $500 per issue.

Send ad by e-mail to graphics@siop.org.

Acceptable formats are Windows EPS, TIF, PDF, Illustrator with fonts outlined, Photoshop, or QuarkXpress files with fonts and graphics provided.

The publication of any advertisement by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) is neither an endorsement of the advertiser nor of the products or services advertised. SIOP is not responsible for any claims made in an advertisement.

The publications of SIOP are published for, and on behalf of, the membership to advance the science and practice of the psychology of work. The Society reserves the right to, unilaterally, REJECT, OMIT, or CANCEL advertising which it deems to be not in the best interest of SIOP, the objectives set forth above, or which by its tone, content, or appearance is not in keeping with the essentially scientific, scholarly, and professional nature of its publications. Conditions, printed or otherwise, which conflict with this policy will not be binding on the publisher.
