What is I-O?

Industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology is the scientific study of the workplace. Rigor and methods of psychology are applied to issues of critical relevance to business, including talent management, coaching, assessment, selection, training, organizational development, performance, and work-life balance.

SIOP 2012 Highlights

Before the attendees arrived, San Diego State student volunteers were hard at work stuffing inserts into the conference bags.

	One of the most talked-about and enjoyed conference activities was the preconference tour of the Midway aircraft carrier.
Conference attendees packed the Elizabeth Ballroom for the Closing Plenary, which featured the legendary Albert Bandura (below).
