Earlier this year, the SIOP Foundation and SIOP announced a second call for proposals as part of the Anti-Racism Grant program, a step toward addressing racism in work contexts using I-O science and practice.
The National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) are co-announcers of this round of funding, as well as current donors to the SIOP Foundation.
The call, aimed at enlarging our understanding of racism in the workplace, its causes, and its reduction, brought in 22 submissions. Four submissions received funding:

Because the presence of overt and institutionalized racial discrimination constitutes direct and indirect threats to the well-being and performance of employees and employers, anti-racism in the workplace is a topic that I-O psychology as a field must address. More information about SIOP’s Stand Against Racism can be found online.
