If you are an I/O practitioner with experience in the science of personnel selection and are ready to make a meaningful impact on a large federal organization, we’d love to talk with you. We are currently recruiting for several positions on our DC-based Selection Programs team.

What you would do:

  • Develop, implement, validate and evaluate selection and assessment systems, tools and processes to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines and demonstrate measureable impact to the organization.

  • Consult with internal stakeholders and influence cross functional leadership to assess selection needs and design strategic solutions to meet them.

  • Initiate research efforts to examine the feasibility of alternative selection methods, and make recommendations to improve programs and procedures based on industry best practices and feedback.

  • Manage external vendors to develop, validate, and deploy a full range of selection and assessment systems, tools and processes.

Specific to senior-level positions:

  • Provide project oversight, technical guidance (e.g., methodological, statistical, psychometric), and coaching to a team of psychologists and technical professionals.

  • Offer thought leadership to HR leadership on the full spectrum of I/O research and practices as they impact strategic talent management from an integrated perspective.

What you should bring:

  • A graduate degree in I-O Psychology, applied Psychology, or a closely related field which included a focus on selection methods, statistics, and/or psychometrics.

  • The ability to perform statistical analyses and apply psychometric principles to establish, document, and monitor legal defensibility and return on investment for of a range of selection systems and tools.

  • The ability to provide consultative services to ensure alignment with strategic business needs while influencing executive project sponsors and stakeholders.

Specific to senior-level positions:

  • The ability to manage organization-wide testing and assessment projects, and provide leadership and direction to team members about planning, organizing, and coordinating project related activities.
