Instructions for Employers

Employer Subscriptions

For an employer to purchase a subscription to enter a job posting in the I-O Jobs Network there are two requirements:
 

  1. A company account must exist in the SIOP database. If one does not already exist, then it needs to be set up by the SIOP Administrative Office. If you are unsure if you have a company account, please contact the SIOP office at siop@siop.org  or call 419-353-0032.
     
  2. The employee making the purchase must be associated with the company in the SIOP database. This is usually done while setting up the company account; however, new employees can be added later. If the employee is not in our database, then a new personal account will need to be created, including username and password, . Once the personal account is created, please let us know so we can add the person as an administrator.

If these requirements have been met, then the associated employee may login at http://www.siop.org/careers/I-O-Jobs to purchase a subscription. On the next page under Employers select "I wish to add job listings or review resumes." and click "Continue". Then click the link to “Purchase Job Posting.”

Purchase Job Posting gives you the rates for purchasing Jobs and allows you to select the type of job, the number of postings (1 or 4) and the number of months (1, 2, or 3). Then it takes you to the purchase module. Preferred Job ads must be purchased at this time. They cannot be added later. If you want to change, you have to purchase a new preferred ad.

Select the appropriate subscription for your job posting. Follow the payment process. Once the subscription is active, at the bottom of your confirmation email, there will be a link to your I-O Job Network page where you may post a job by clicking on the Job ID number. You may now use the resumé search to find qualified candidates .  

  • To view the public Job search page without logging in go to: www.siop.org/Jobs-Careers/Job-Search
  • A Preferred Job Posting will always appear at the top of the list. The preferred status cannot be added later. If you want it to be a preferred posting later then you must purchase a new Preferred Job Posting and re-submit your ad.
  • After the employer subscriber has submitted the job posting, it can no longer be edited. Please contact the SIOP Administrative Office at siop@siop.org to request access to edit it..
  • Once a job posting has run, it cannot be renewed. A new job posting must be purchased and resubmitted.
  • You may purchase another job posting while a current one is running. It will run separately for the purchased time.
  • Multiple job posting packages with run the purchased duration of the job posting package. You may post up to 4 job postings at any time during the purchased time.
  • There is a 10% surcharge if a subscription cannot be prepaid and instead needs to be invoiced (to request an invoice, please email siop@siop.org).
