Organization and Management Development Intern

About the Job

The Organization and Management Development (OMD) intern will work with the Corporate OMD team and other HR functions to assist in the execution of all phases of PepsiCo’s HR core processes, including our Organizational Health Survey, 360-degree feedback process, performance management process, and upward feedback system.  The person in this role will also assist in the design, development and deployment of individual assessment processes for our leadership population including our high potential individuals.  The intern will also help in supporting client groups in their OD/I-O specific needs and initiatives including training/leadership programs, organization design, and succession planning.

Primary Accountabilities

  1. Performance Management Process - objectives, mid-year, succession planning, year-end reviews.
  2. Core People Process - assessments (Hogan/360 Feedback), employee surveys, functional assessments.
  3. Leadership Assessment – psychometric instruments, situational judgment tests, assessment centers
  4. Workforce Analytics - talent trends (promo's, turnover) and talent management (high-potential tracking).
  5. Development - individual development plans, PepsiCo University.
  6. My Performance & Development - systems support and user capability.
  7. Capability – provide OD/I-O support to key client groups, including supporting the diversity and inclusion agenda, competency modeling, analyzing people data, special research projects, etc.

Job Requirements

Minimum Skill Requirements:

  • Pursuing Master’s or Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or a related field (PhD candidates preferred)
  • Previous consulting experience; survey research/360/assessment experience preferred
  • Strong background in statistical analysis; proficient in SPSS
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work on a variety of tasks and projects
  • MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, and Word

This is a one-year internship.
