About the Job

Time Warner Cable is looking for a Senior Selection & Assessment Consultant who is capable at, passionate about and, at least mildly entertained by making selection a competitive advantage amid the methodological, operational, regulatory, organizational, data-related and other challenges inherent in this work. This position requires someone comfortable working on many different levels—from designing and leading innovative ROI studies to managing and analyzing massive datasets; from convincing business leaders to support a different selection approach to answering the candidate question that has been escalated multiple times; from developing enterprise-wide selection policies to providing the tools and training that make those policies work in practice. 
More specifically, examples of work you would perform as a Senior Selection Consultant at TWC include:
•Design, conduct and leverage applied research of selection assessment tools and processes to improve hire quality, defensibility, efficiency and experience for candidates, hiring managers and recruiters.
•Design employee selection systems, including development of selection instruments, performing job analyses, recommending selection system enhancements and ensuring all is properly documented.
•Partner with functional area leaders, colleagues across HR disciplines, legal and other groups to ensure alignment of selection activities with other human capital initiatives and enterprise strategies.
•Educate recruiters, HR partners and business leaders concerning selection assessments, their use and their utility; provide consultation for escalated selection issues and questions.
•Translate and present local and other selection research to guide and influence decisions of senior management. 
•Ensure assessment solutions, policies, guidelines and advice are consistent with TWC’s values and policies and with legal and professional standards. 
•Managing all projects and vendors to meet timelines and internal customer needs efficiently.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
•Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field is required, Ph.D. preferred.
•7 or more years of experience developing, validating and implementing selection assessments (5 or more years with PhD)
•5 or more years of progressively broader experience leading multiple complex projects simultaneously
•Extensive experience in creation, management, analysis of large datasets including such data as assessment answers and scores, performance metrics, and other criterion data. 
•Proficient in using Excel or Access and SPSS, SAS or similar statistical package for data manipulation and analyses.
