SIOP and the SIOP Foundation are currently seeking nominations and applications for the 2014 awards, scholarships, fellowships, andresearch grants. However, nominators and applicants should be aware of an important change.
New this year: There is only one deadline—June 30—for all nominations and applications, a change from the staggered deadline for different awards that existed in the past.
“The awards committee is excited by this change as it will allow us to better coordinate the different awards given to recognize significant achievement in our field. I want to encourage the SIOP membership to make their award nominations early as the June 30 deadline will be here before we know it,” said David Baker, chair of the Awards Committee.
All SIOP members received an email last week calling for nominations or applications and announcing the new June 30 deadline.
SIOP members are urged to nominate colleagues for one of SIOP’s Distinguished Awards: Professional Contributions, Scientific Contributions, Service Contributions, Teaching Contributions, Early Career Contributions for Practice, and Early Career Contributions for Science.
In addition, there are a number of other awards, scholarships, fellowships, and research grants provided by the SIOP Foundation that acknowledge past contributions to the field of I-O or help with the expense of dissertation research.
All nominations and applications must be done on online. A complete list of all awards follows. Please click on the individual links for nomination and application guidelines and criteria.
