Four Reasons to Attend SIOP’s Preconference Workshops

by SIOP Administrative Office

The 2018 preconference workshops on to be held Wednesday, April 18 offer attendees a world-class opportunity for professional education and growth.

The SIOP Workshop Committee, led by chair Gavan O’Shea, has put together a schedule of 11 development opportunities given by notable experts that cover several timely workplace trends as well as perennially important topics. Learn more about the sessions here.

Haven’t registered for the SIOP preconference workshops yet? Here are four reasons you should:

  1. GREAT TOPICS for 2018, including personality assessment, storytelling, big data, technology, talent management, surveys, and leader development.
  2. A new TWO-MODULE COURSE in Individual Leadership Assessment
  3. A lineup of ALL-STAR PRESENTERS
  4. A flexible HALF-DAY attendance option

Check out the workshop descriptions here and learn more about the workshops and rates here.

Full-day workshop registration delivers two in-depth workshops that offer up to seven continuing education credits for psychology purposes* and/or HR purposes, access to materials from all of the sessions, coffee breaks, lunch, and a networking reception.
If you haven’t registered for the conference yet, you can add the workshops during your regular registration process. If you’ve already registered for the SIOP conference, you can add the workshops by logging back into the registration site and making this selection. This will not alter your previous conference registration. Either way, make the arrangements soon; attendance is limited and the workshops are filling up!
